Management of an interpreting project

  • Step 1

Evaluation of the clients demand (number of days necessary for the work, number of interpreters, number of languages, etc...) in order to check the availability of the most suitably qualified interpreters.

  • Step 2

Inspection of the location where the event will take place in order to determine if any particular equipment is required for the interpreting and include any additional costs into the price (if required by the client).

  • Step 3

Price formulation.

  • Step 4

After the client has accepted the offer, a meeting will take place between the client and the interpreter entrusted with the task; this allows the interpreter to get to master the specific terminology of the sector through all the possible necessary aids (abstracts, brochures, commercial and technical material).

  • Step 5

Carrying out of further terminological research and elaboration of specific glossary for each sector.

  • Step 6

Once the event is finished, filing of the relative terminological glossary in order to grant uniformity between previous and future works.
In the event of interpreting services or linguistic assistance abroad, once the interpreters have come back or the event has finished, the interpreters assist the client also in the follow-up of the foreign contact, granting continuity and uniformity in the work.
