Profile
In a world where communication is vital, it is even more important that the message reaches its destination, without misunderstandings and ambiguities, maintaining the reliability and the professionalism of those who decide to extend their own image to the foreign market.
It is necessary to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers in order to respond to the international development of cultural and commercial relations.
Dragomanno is a modern, multi-purpose company founded in 1994.
It is a dynamic company that aims to solve the communication problems between companies and their foreign interlocutors, allowing them to demonstrate their reliability and commitment to international clients and raising their potential for success.
Our approach is simple. We recognise our clients are extremely busy people, often handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Once you place work with us, you should be able to consider it 'one less thing to worry about': that’s what we think. We'll own the problem and go the extra mile in order to help you meet your objectives - whatever it takes.
We are often asked what Dragomanno means : “In the Ottoman Empire an official responsible for embassies with interpreting tasks, originating from the Oriental Arabian turguman 'interpreter' from targama 'translate’”.
Therefore our mission is already underlying in the name we chose:
translate, and we are the first to declare the high quality of our work, stamping our translations with the “Dragomanno logo”. We've been in this business for over a decade and are proud of our reputation for flawless delivery. Hence be assured we will NOT let you down.
Dragomanno translates to and from all foreign languages.
Translation is a team effort , a complex process, in which accuracy relies essentially on the translators’ knowledge and on their skills to properly use and adjust syntax, style, and to correctly interpret the linguistic specificity of the target culture.
A safe pair of hands: The founders of the company are graduates from the Interpreting and Translation School of Trieste: our company prides itself on highly specialized partners, specialists and natives specifically selected not only for their academic qualifications but also for their good translation project management skills as these are what are needed for a high quality translation: specific in-depth knowledge, research skills, accuracy, use of supporting information, know-how, and, last but not least, punctuality to meet deadlines.
As a matter of fact, we fully understand that a translation delivered later than promised can have serious knock-on effects. If we commit to a deadline then we'll stick to it - or call you well in advance if there are unforeseen problems.
